Electrical Controls Engineer/Programmer

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer/Programmer. This position will be responsible for multiple controls projects and will be capable of all phases of a controls project including: concept and research, sales support, estimating, component selection, network design, panel design, AutoCAD layout, purchasing, device troubleshooting, PLC programming, HMI design, on site installation, and after sales support.

Responsibilities:
• Designs, develops all aspects of programming and electrical engineering activities for new projects and makes improvements to existing systems.
• Generates electrical schematics and BOM’s in compliance with established company standards and applicable regulatory codes.
• Coordinates and expedites manufacturing process with various departments to meet customer commitment.
• Leads fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of systems as needed.
• May act as Project Manager when assigned. As project manager you would prepare schedules for new projects. Assist with quotations for new projects for electrical components and design, programming and installation work for assigned projects.
• Involved in other duties as required, including but not limited to hands-on work, as team member.
• Provides support for any control system issue or concern with customer as requested.
• Travel required to client sites to perform startup and commissioning duties.
Requirements:
• ASEE or equivalent and minimum of 4 years of industrial control systems professional experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft® Windows and Office applications, and AutoCAD
• Expertise in programming of PLCs, HMIs and Drives ( Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Keyence )
• Experience in Fanuc robot programming
• Experience in vision programming (Fanuc iRVision, Cognex, Omron, Keyence )
