Job Description

                                          Shift Supervisor 2nd or 3rd shift

Position Summary:
The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for developing efficient work methods, and collaborating with
employees to increase productivity while maintaining a strong safety record.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities are as outlined below but not limited to the following:
- Enforce safety and sanitation regulations
- Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in production or processing
of parts, such as inspectors, mold setters
- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and
reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production
estimates and outputs
- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between
departments
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet
production goals
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
- Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees,
or assign employees to experienced workers for training
- Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or
grievances
- Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators
conform to production or processing standards
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for
Workers

Qualifications:
▪ This position requires a working knowledge of all facets of the Injection Molding process
▪ High School education
▪ Minimum of 3 years proven success in the industry
▪ Good written and communication skills

Physical Requirements:
This position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting to 50 pounds, and exposure to moderate
noise and temperature levels.
