Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler for a 1st shift, direct hire position located in Dayton.

  • This position requires preparation of parts for subsequent work centers, light assembly prior to shipment, or inspection prior to final storage.
  • Small or minor irregularities of surfaces are removed, components are washed, lubricated, and properly counted and identified.
  • Accuracy of identification and light assembly is emphasized.
  • Direct hire – 7am – 3:30pm with occasional overtime.
  • Starting pay is up to $23.00 an hour! 


  • Removes grease, oil, rust, and/or grime from parts using solvents or other cleaners.
  • Deburrs parts using hand and power tools.
  • Assembles components based on blueprints.
  • Measures and inspects work using provided measuring devices.
  • Identifies component parts by part number with metal stamp, electric etcher, and/or other designated means.
  • Properly uses and cares for hand and power tools required to perform duties.
  • Frequently uses hoist in the movement of materials while performing duties.
  • Capable of lifting components up to 40 lbs without the use of a hoist.
  • Has a good background in the basic application of shop mathematics.
