Job Description

We have an immediate, direct hire opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer.  This position is a great chance to build upon one's career and take it to the next level.  

Responsibilities
" Research, develop, propose, and implement capital investment projects.
" Develop facility layouts, budgets, equipment specifications, project schedules, equipment evaluations, and presentations related to projects.
" Provide troubleshooting support for all manufacturing processes including die cast machines, robots and automation equipment to address safety, quality, and delivery issues.
" Provide training and technical assistance to production and maintenance personnel.
" Gather and analyze data for identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
" Develop and implement solutions that improve safety, quality, and productivity.
" Communicate effectively with production, management, contractors, and suppliers.
" Develop new and modify existing technical drawings as needed.
" Design new, modify existing, or procure new tools or equipment that are consistent with industry and company standards.
" Research and develop alternative technologies for processing new products.
" Prioritize and multi-task various projects and other activities in a fast-paced environment.
" Provide off-shift, weekend, and holiday support as needed.

Qualifications
" Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education/work experience.
" Minimum of 3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
" Working knowledge of design and development of manufacturing processes, FMEA and process flow diagrams, production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
" Working knowledge of manufacturing launch of new/revised products, and evaluating results.
" Working knowledge of process analysis production up-time, cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency improvement.
" Proficient in Microsoft Project, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
" Experienced with AutoCAD and Solidworks.
" Strong written and verbal communication skills.
