Job Description

Electronic Production Technician



Setup and perform technical electronic test functions with aide of written procedures and instructions. Use of schematics, PCB/PWB layouts, mechanical drawings, and work instructions.

Technicians will use oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and automated tests sets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • In depth knowledge of digital and analog principles required.
  • Understanding of electronic circuitry and component function required.
  • PC skills are required for data entry and use of test software.
  • Demonstrates ability to read schematics and troubleshoot simple circuits. 
  • Must have experience with commonly used test equipment such as oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supplies and network analyzer. 
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal customers.
  • Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to pass and obtain an IPC-610 soldering certification.

  • Education and/or Experience

    High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree in electrical engineering technology from an accredited college or university or a minimum of 3 years digital and basic electronics experience required.
  • RF test experience is highly preferred.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
  • Knowledge of J-STD-OO1 preferred and ability to obtain certification once employed is required
