Human Resources Business Partner - Team Lead



Responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, labor union relationship, and employment law compliance. 


  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Administers the corporate compensation program.
  • Leads recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt, union personnel, and interns; conducts new-employee orientations.
  • Manages employee performance evaluation, retention, and reward programs to ensure compliance and process improvements.
  • Supports in employee career planning and development.
  • Participates in leadership staff meetings aimed at company strategy and current and future business needs. 
  • Conducts new hire orientation
  • Maintains working relationship with union officials and adheres to terms of labor contract by monitoring day-to-day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours and working conditions.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. 


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Human resources,
