Job Description

The Maintenance Technician, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, will be responsible for conducting scheduled maintenance, repairing equipment as needed, and documenting maintenance and repair on lines and equipment within their shift. The Maintenance Technician must/will possess considerable skills, knowledge and experience related to working on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems within a large, 24/7 manufacturing environment. The incumbent will display a commitment to Core Values.

  • Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times
  • Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Production Supervision and Line Leads
  • Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor and/or Productions Management/Supervision
  • Services lines by completing daily preventative maintenance and TPM checks
  • Conducts daily line audits, suggesting equipment/part/tooling modifications, and by implementing predictive maintenance.
  • Contributes to line commissioning after maintenance/process events
  • Assists with other plant projects as needed
  • Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
  • Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
  • Desired but not mandatory: Experience or knowledge of PLCs (not programming).
