Job Description

The Maintenance Technician, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, will be responsible for conducting scheduled maintenance, repairing equipment as needed, and documenting maintenance and repair on lines and equipment within their shift.

 The main missions of the role are to:

  • Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
  • Try out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime
  • Propose and implement continuous productivity and quality improvement actions for all facilities and process efficiency
  • Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing, Health, Safety and Environment and maintainability requirements are met

 Job Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of maintenance / engineering experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Services lines by completing daily preventative maintenance and TPM checks
  • CNC Machine Maintenance exp required
  • Electrical wiring and mechanical skills
  • Prior experience with Allen Bradley PLC’s and Fanuc robotic systems required
  • Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety and Environmental skills
  • Strong technical problem solving skills
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
