Job Description

Pay: 80,000K - 110,000K

BASIC FUNCTIONS
Lead the development of process and equipment planning activities required to support customer projects and meet company business plan objectives


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support the production operator
2. Maintain a safe and clean working environment
3. Adhere to corporate, federal, and state employment policies
4. Adhere to all company policies
5. Lead the manufacturing evaluation of new product concepts (DFA), creation of manufacturing plans, and
estimations of production costs
6. Responsible for Equipment & Tooling Readiness/Documentation and all safety standards
7. Qualify purchased Cap-Ex equipment in accordance with company MAP requirements (i.e. capability, OEE,
(i.e. capability, OEE, ergonomics, etc.)
8. Lead start of production CIP activities necessary to meet product quality and business plan objectives
9. Develop and maintain all production documentation required including DFA’s, PFD’s, PFMEA’s, WI’s, etc.
10. Implement 5S activities for all production areas
11. Support all TS-16949 and ISO14001 standards and activities
12. Develop other junior engineers and employees to improve their abilities and skills
13. Support company vision, values, goals, and business plan
14. Perform other duties as assigned
15. Follow and make recommendations for improvement as necessary to documented company Best Practices
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience
2. Minimum 8 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing facility.
3. Working knowledge of PLC, HMI’s, relays, contactors, servos, steppers, low voltage circuits, high voltage circuits, torque drivers, bar code systems, data base storage, vision systems, etc…
a. Allen Bradley, Siemens, Bosch Rexroth, OpCon, Cognex
4. Experience with quality management systems
5. Strong technical and communication skills
6. Working Experience with machine electrical cabinet layout and machine controls
7. Team player
8. TS 16949 and ISO 14001Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Rockwell, Siemens, OpCon, AutoCAD
