Job Description

We are seeking to hire an experienced full-time Structural Engineer to join an experienced team of Structural Engineers and Designers to support growing Structural Engineering Department and its diverse range of projects and clients.  

 REQUIREMENTS 

  • A Bachelor level degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university is required. Graduates with a degree in Civil Engineering must demonstrate evidence of consistent involvement and interest in Structural Engineering.
  • 4 to 8 years of Structural Engineering experience.
  • A current PE license is highly preferred. A willingness to obtain a PE license is required. 

 QUALIFICATIONS 

  • A Masters level degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience using finite element analysis software.
  • A demonstrated ability to work with Structural Engineering CAD models.
  • A working proficiency creating and using Structural Engineering drawings. 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 

Relevant experience in an industrial setting and project cost-estimating are preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Any experience in agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, oilseeds, biofuels, grain milling & handling, pet food or animal feed would be helpful.  Prior experience in Consulting Engineering is a plus.

  • The ability to manage multiple-assignments and to flexibly re-prioritize work as necessary.
  • Attention to details, adhering to quality standards, and customer service skills are essential.
