Job Description

You will have the responsibility of assembling and wiring industrial control panels and special machinery built to customer specified quality requirements. 

General Purpose:

  • Must be proficient in the use and diagnostics of PLC controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, and electrical systems.
  • Must be able to work under minimal direction to assemble, test and debug various types of both automated and manual industrial equipment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze orders/prints for accuracy/applicability.
  • Install piping, fixtures, and attachments required to service machine with air and water.
  • Lay out hole locations and drill and tap holes on parts for assembly.
  • Install wiring and electrical components to specification.
  • Build electrical panels based on a wiring diagram.
  • Verify conformance of parts and test operation of assemblies.
  • Verify alignment, tolerance and clearance of moving parts.
  • Test machine to verify functioning, machine capabilities and conformance to customer and test specifications.
  • Maintain inventory levels of component parts. 


  • High school education or equivalent and a minimum of 5+ years of related assembly experience, including wiring and conduit installation
  • Must be proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical prints, machine drawings, and electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics
  • Must have own tools
