The Sales Agent will be responsible for the sales of Capital Equipment for new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Support existing accounts to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction as well as identify and derive ROI for additional system opportunities
Establish and manage new accounts utilizing our sales process from initial contact through PO
Expand, support and initiate long term technical relationships with key OEM customers, engineers and purchase groups.
OEM management including communication, quality reports, and engineering technical support
Work in tandem with our technical team to present solutions and benefits for that specific prospect and their industry
Assist design and manufacturing in the development of new and/or revised product according to customer requirements
Provide timely reports summarizing findings on a given product, project or territory
Support product sales plans relating to costing, life cycle and forecasting
Provide technical support to sales and customer service on existing products and new inquires as needed.
Qualifications:
Technical degree preferred and 3-5 years experience in the sales of Capital Equipment
Ability to articulate technical information in a simplistic and concise manner
Track record of attaining sales goals
Capital equipment sales experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong closing skills
Dedicated work ethic and willing to work the hours commensurate with the sales position
Technical competence
Excellent presentation skills
Sound knowledge of PC use and applications
