Industrial Engineer

Job Summary:

Plan utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve quality and efficiency of operations.  Develop and implement process enhancements to improve new and existing products in manufacturing. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline required.
  • Two to Five years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Welding or metal fabrication experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for quality, process control, and continuous improvement.
  • Able to work with local management team as well as within Corporate’s global environment.
  • Knowledge of material handling or heavy construction equipment.
  • CAD experience required
  • Prior experience with equipment layouts and production flow processed
  • Excellent communication skills 


  • Work with others to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and work flow and implement the findings.
  • Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, capital projects, and effect of product design changes on expenditures for management review.
  • Setup engineering for AED and standard product.
  • Specify and justify purchases as well as coordinate installation of equipment.
  • Assist with product development, problem-solving and corrective action initiatives.
  • Recommend methods for reducing waste of materials and utilities.
  • Implement continuous improvement and lean methodologies to reduce waste in all aspects of the operation.
  • Understand and adhere to all Corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote and provide a safe work environment.
  • Develop new processes and tooling for both existing and new products.
  • Adapt release product design data into manufacturing data required for production of product.

This is a Direct Hire position, targeted pay up to $70,000.00!
