Maintenance Tech - Springfield 

Immediate hire with benefits on 2nd shift

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Be able to perform preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment and facilities, ranging from general building maintenance to complete disassembly/repair of machinery and complex devices.

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Safety and Productivity of all associates depends on a rational thinking individual who recognizes the importance of, and is well versed in properly maintained machinery.
2. Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills in medium voltage electrical circuitry, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and the discipline of lock-out/tag-out.
3. Strong knowledge of Press Repair Skills.
4. Be a self-motivated team member.
5. Good communication with the maintenance team and production associates and Supervisors.
6. Must follow and obey all company policies and procedures.
7. All duties assigned to be completed with attention to safety and quality.
8. Capable of working in confined spaces.
9. Capable of working at heights up to 40 feet.
10. Ownership of basic tools to perform maintenance duties as assigned.
11. Work overtime as needed, including weekends.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED required. Some formal post-high school training in machinery maintenance, electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc. Previous stamping press maintenance experience required. Previous experience with Allen Bradley PLC platforms preferred. Valid Driver's License required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses required while performing duties in production areas.
- Some computer literacy and data entry knowledge.
