Job Description

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Ability to read electrical schematics
Working knowledge of RF principles such as filter operation, amplifier basics, insertion loss, return loss, VSWR, and S-parameter measurements
The ability to adapt methods to solve problems
Proficient in the use of standard test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum and network analyzers, power meters, data acquisition units, power supplies, oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and other equipment
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Mechanical ability related specifically towards building assemblies, prototypes, and fixtures
Proficient soldering skills required (J-STD-001 certification preferred)
Knowledge in MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, and RTCA/ DO-160 a plus
Knowledge in the use of LPKF prototyping equipment a plus
Knowledge in the use of LabVIEW programming environment a plus

Education and/or Experience:
Two-year (Associate’s) degree in electronics related field from an accredited college or university and 1+ years of experience in electronics OR 10+ years of high level technician’s experience in electronics, or equivalent
Experience with RF based systems
Knowledge of CAD software a plus
Experience creating laboratory or production automation with LabVIEW a plus
MIL-STD environmental test experience a plus
Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder))
