Job Description

Production Planner/Production Scheduler 

Manufacturing Production Planning & Control focuses on managing production to optimize the use of resources and meet production schedules and standards including:

  • Planning and controlling production schedules and coordinating with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials
  • Estimating and scheduling the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process
  • Researching, evaluating, and recommending changes to production processes or flow, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance organization's production capabilities
  • Previous ERP experience in a manufacturing setting is required. Experience in an ETO (engineered to order) assembly operation would be preferred or extensive planning background through education and experience
  • APICS certification a plus 

Job Requirements 

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Planner role within a manufacturing facility or related area
  • Strong Analytical skills, Organizational and problem solving skills, develop understanding of technical documentation and standards- Drawings, Specs. Etc.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems; especially proficient in the use of Excel
  • Familiarization with manufacturing and service environment
  • Strong professional relationship building skills, and ability to interface across the entire enterprise (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, PM&L, Trade Compliance, Accounting, etc.)
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and project at the same time.
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
