Job Description


PDSI is recruiting for a Quality Engineer for a direct hire opportunity for our client in Dayton, OH

The Quality Engineer will be working with the fluid motion team in the facility at Dayton, OH providing solutions for water, wastewater, industrial, mining, and food industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs and executes ongoing improvement of the lean manufacturing system in the facility.
  • Designs and installs quality control processes, sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques.
  • Identifies quality control and system testing standards and process.
  • Develops quality control plans by partnering with engineering, commercial, and supply chain in manufacturing; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
  • Designs and executes FMEA, PFMEA, and DFEMA for various parts and manufacturing processes.
  • Develops improvement plans from the result of manufacturing assessment.
  • Performs Process Capability Studies and Capacity Verification.
  • Develops supplier evaluation plans for adding new suppliers and reevaluation the existing supplier.
  • Develops corrective and preventive actions from supplier NCRs and works with suppliers to implement and execute the plans.
  • Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
  • Satisfies and compliance with the requirement of ISO 9001:2015, ASME SEC VIII:2019 for quality assessment audit.


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant academic degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in quality engineering or related type of quality system required
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer is preferred

Pay Range: $78,000 - $88,000
