Entry level Electrical Enginner, CAD Software

Description: We have a direct hire opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Technician with 1-3 years' experience. The Electrical Engineering Technician will consistently work to and produce high standards in his/her work applying sound engineering and business practices focused on the continual improvement of product performance, quality, accuracy in design and the advancement of technology while working with clear determination to increase and enhance overall customer satisfaction within all that is contributed.

Position requires 5-10% travel.

" Provide electrical engineering design support for new products as well as re-engineering and maintenance of current and legacy products.
" Provide electrical engineering technical leadership on troubleshooting machine design projects and system solutions as they are manufactured and validated with the assembly group.
" Creation and maintenance of machine electrical schematics and other Electrical Engineering documentation that describes the form and function of the product's electrical systems.
" Provide electrical engineering design support to identify and execute design changes to improve the time to build complete particularly in the areas of electrical noise reduction, grounding issue reduction, and electromagnetic interference avoidance.


" Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) from an accredited engineering program (may take Associate's degree)
" 2 - 3 years' experience in the manufacturing of equipment industry preferably within the machine tool and/or coordinate measuring machine (CMM) business sectors.
" Specific background and experience with design and specification of linear motion systems, rotary tables, high precision servo motors and feedback devices, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), electrical safety and risk assessment is desirable.
" 2-3 years' experience using CAD software packages such E-Plan, PromisE, AutoCAD to create electrical drawings/ and circuit diagrams.
" Knowledge of manufacturing process methods specific to CE compliance, electromagnetic Interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFD, electrostatic discharge (ESD), power systems analysis, motion control systems, kinematics, network systems, and Industrial Electronic is desirable.
" Working knowledge of IS014001and IS09001
