Job Description

Quality Control Engineer

This position will be responsible for managing the manufacturing of prototype parts and providing support to the overall development activities for mass production start up based on the client's, internal, and manufacturing requirements. Will work closely with Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Technical Experts to produce prototype parts, acquire, and analyze measurement data, develop quality strategies, make judgments, and report problems or failures in an attempt to improve or perfect the product.

Skills Required:

Data Acquisition
Quality Control strategy
1st Article Inspection
Supplier Interface
Working knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, diagrams and manuals
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software and 3D modeling

Desired Skills:

CMM Experience
FaroArm Experience
Machining
Quality assurance experience

Experience:
2-5 years years of quality control experience; preferably in an automotive or manufacturing setting.


Education:
Required: Bachelor's Degree

Desired: Mechanical, Automotive, Quality Control, or Related
